Welcome to Barcelona!!
Our travel will begin in #Tibidabo 0:20, a hill overlooking #Barcelona, #Catalonia, #Spain. At 512 metres, it is the tallest hill in the Serra de Collserola. The summit of the hill is occupied by the #SagratCor church and adjacent #TibidaboAmusementPark. Then we’ll move to the #ParkGüell 0:57 (a public park system composed of gardens and architectural elements located on Carmel Hill), the design of the park was assigned to #AntoniGaudí. From here we’ll move to the famous #SagradaFamília 1:26 (a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor basilica) designed by Spanish/Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, his work on the building is part of a #UNESCO #WorldHeritageSite. Next to it we’ll find the #Monumental 1:58 bullring with a capacity of 19,582 within 26 rows of lines (it was the last place in Catalonia where bullfights were held). Next will be the beautiful #ArcdeTriomf 2:25, built by architect Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas as the main access gate for the 1888 #BarcelonaWorldFair. Inside the #CiutadellaPark 2:45 is the #CastleofTresDragons 2:37 built between 1887–1888 as a Café-Restaurant for the fair. Then we’ll arrive to the #PlaçaSantJaume 3:22 and the #CathedralofBarcelona 3:27 (is the Gothic cathedral and seat of the Archbishop of Barcelona). Then we’ll arrive to the famous #LaRambla 3:46, a tree-lined pedestrian street in central Barcelona, it stretches for 1.2 kilometres connecting #PlaçadeCatalunya in the centre with the #ChristopherColumbusMonument 3:53 at #PortVell. Then we’ll move to the #MontjuïcCastle 4:45 (an old military fortress, with roots dating back from 1640) and to the near #PalauNacional 5:13 (home to the National Art Museum of Catalonia). From her e we’ll head to the #PlaçadEspanya 5:38, one of Barcelona’s most important squares. Then will be time for a visit to the #CampNou 6:04, it has been the home stadium of #FCBarcelona since its completion in 1957. With a seating capacity of 99,354, it is the largest stadium in Spain and Europe.
